Womb Healing
Womb Healing is an empowering way in which to reconnect with and heal the potent womb space, the source of all life and of our creative energy. It works on the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual aspects of yourself in order to bring about deep healing to this powerfully potent place within you.

Our wombs are the most powerful part of our bodies, Yes as women, we have been disempowered through action and abuse of the physical form, and our role as nurturer has been minimised. The soft, feminine way has been conditioned out of us in favour of keeping of developing those masculine traits of doing and achieving yet, it is within the womb where true power lies. We can produce life! We bleed and yet still stand. We are on a circular rhythm that men are not and yet our world reflects the masculine.

Womb Healing can be extremely potent in support of your holistic wellbeing. It can help with healing your ancestral line and bringing a sense of deep purpose and connection to that lineage. Ancestral wounding and trauma is carried in the DNA of many of us and womb clearing helps to heal those wounds.

What happens during a womb healing?

On a physical level, key areas of touch and physical connection in the back and abdomen are massaged using acupressure, pulsing, lymphatic drainage, organ detoxing, craniosacral therapy, vibration, toning and deep tissue massage.

On a mental and emotional level, aspects of the psyche that relate to the gut and womb which the receiver carries within them and which needs to be released are given an opportunity to move from the body and energy field. This could include birth trauma, pain associated with menstrual cycles, postpartum recovery, fertility, self-image, sexual abuse and trauma, past sexual relationships, gut imbalances and nervous system health.

On a spiritual level, to release heavy energy that resides energetically in the womb associated with any emotional disruption as well as soul shards, belief systems, patterns and conditioning, menstrual health, chakra imbalances, DNA lines and ancestral trauma.

It is a way of healing that transcends touch. Massage is a core component of this healing however it is layered with practices that work deep into your energetic field to bring about healing and change.

There are many reasons why somebody would seek a womb massage. There may be physiological issues such as cysts on the ovaries, endometriosis, fibroids or adenomyosis, which cause pain and discomfort, and may impact fertility. Painful periods, painful ovulation, no period, no ovulation, perimenopause and the impacts these have on a woman's life may prompt somebody to seek womb healing. Sexual assault or abuse, abortion and miscarriage, post-gynaecological or abdominal surgery are all reasons why women have sought out womb massages.

Pregnancy Massage

Pregnancy Massage is a specialized approach to massage that ensures you and your baby are safe to receive bodywork during pregnancy. It is gentle, nurturing and effective in helping to reduce tension and pain during your pregnancy.

Pregnancy can be a tumultuous time in a woman's life. Your body is suddenly not your own anymore! For some women, everything they thought they knew about their body might as well go out with the garbage. Some pregnancies are not fantastic. Even the path to getting there may have been challenging. So it is my intent to hold space for these emotions and feelings and to allow you to process them in a safe environment where there is no judgement, no opinions. Just love, kindness and compassion.

In an ideal world, a mother-to-be should be pampered, honoured and most of all, nurtured as she will soon move from the Maiden to Mother phase of her life. This massage aims to give you those things.

Using a variety of techniques including myofascial release, lymphatic drainage and Swedish massage, this beautiful session will help release tension around the lower back, hips and pelvis; reduce swelling in the hands and feet; and promote a sense of wellbeing and deep respite. Pregnancy-safe massage oils are used which are deeply moisturising for the skin, including the belly.

When can I have a pregnancy massage?

You are welcome to book in for a Pregnancy massage as soon as you feel ready. There is no limit on when you can receive. During the last month of your pregnancy, you are welcome to book in for an in-home session.

Pregnancy massages can be given face-down in the first trimester, until you feel unable to lay on your stomach. After this, they are given in a side-lying position.

If you have gone past dates and wish to try and induce labour, acupressure and moxibustion can also be used for natural labour induction.
Postpartum Massage

Postpartum Massage is a specialized approach to massage that combines both pregnancy and womb healing practices to support your body and soul during the postpartum period.

In many traditional cultural midwifery practices, postpartum care is as vital to your wellbeing as all of the antenatal care you receive during the first three trimesters. And yet, in Western Culture, it is probably the most ignored. Your 4th trimester can be the most challenging time as you adjust to life with a new baby and your body once again get thrown into the wringer of postnatal hormones and physical changes you experience after giving birth. There can be post-birth dysfunction experienced and ongoing adjustments to be made to the new phsyical form you now carry with you.

In traditional Ayurvedic practice, women are massaged daily in their home following the birth of their child. They are also encouraged to stay home and to focus purely on the baby and their own recovery. None of this getting straight back into it and running a marathon a week after you give birth!
In Mexico, a Closing of the Bones ceremony is performed to support the return of the mother to her body and the closing of the birth portal.

In many Aian cultures, womb wrapping or belly binding is performed to help your body recover and to return to shape after the fullness of pregnancy.

The Postpartum Massage is performed in your home, with plenty of time allowed for nursing and tending to your baby. It is a minimum booking of two hours which you are welcome to share with your partner or other member of your family. It involves a foot soak and scrub, a full body massage including womb healing and reflexology, ending with a beautiful Closing of the Bones ceremony which signifies the end of this journey with your current pregnancy. Specialised sound healing instruments are used to finish this session.

When can I have a postpartum session?

You are welcome to book in for a Postpartum massage as soon as you have given birth and are ready. If you have pain as a result of the birth a a massage can help with pain management.

If you have had a C-section delivery, you will be massaged in a side-lying position. Scar Tissue work cannot be performed until a minimum of 8 weeks has passed.

This is also an opportunity for you to have a birth de-brief and discuss anything that might have come up for you since the delivery. I am here to support you in your recovery in every way I can be of service.

If you have any questions or wish to know more about Postpartum Massage, please feel free to give the clinic a call on 0429503944 to discuss .

Bengkung Belly Binding

Bengkung Belly Binding is practiced to support your healing body while your muscles retract. It supports your organs so they can return to their pre-pregnancy size and positions, and promotes warming of the body after the cooling process of childbirth.

Energetically, a woman is at her most open and vulnerable in the postpartum period, following the intensity of pregnancy and childbirth, and the mammoth task of successfully bringing in of a new human soul. The process of belly binding not only physically helps to protect the womb and abdomen, but it also provides protection to the powerful womb portal which has recently been opened and exposed.

This is a powerful practice that can also be used during a woman's bleed to help protect her energy and power.

Bengkung Belly Wraps are available for hire.
Castor Oil Packs

A Castor Oil Pack is an Ayurvedic technique for abdominal health. It uses warmed castor oil soaked in a muslin wrap which is then applied to your abdomen. Further heat is applied once the pack is in place. It is left for a minimum of 30 minutes to absorb into your skin and into the abdominal cavity.
While this is working, you will receive an Indian Head or foot massage which will deeply relax you before you receive a womb healing..

Castor oil packs have the potential to:
- Help reduce the size and impact of fibroids and cysts
- Support fertility
- Reduce pain and inflammation in the abdominal cavity
- Reduce pain and inflammation in the reproductive organs
- Improve lymphatic circulation and immunity
- Improve digestion
- Break down scar tissue
- Relieve constipation
- Detoxify organs
- Reduce/remove uterine congestion

This practice is also a powerful way to purge stagnation in the abdomen and bring about more flow into your Solar Plexus, Sacral and Base chakras..
